Recently, Chloe found a penny in a parking lot. I let her hold it in her hand in her car seat, but the whole time I was thinking to myself "Will she put the penny in her mouth? Naahhh, she's past that stage." I convinced myself that she'd be fine. About 2 minutes later we're in the car driving and I happen to glance at her and her lips are held together tightly. I said' Chloe, what is in your mouth?" She said "the penny.?? WHAT? The Penny?
I can't believe she did that! What is the fascination that kids have with putting coins in their mouth? Chloe is beyond the stage of putting things in her mouth, but she actually put the penny in her mouth! I don't get it.
