"I gagged in my big girl bed"

This is what Chloe told a prospective sitter today, as soon as she arrived to meet us.

There's been a lot of sickness in our house! This weekend Chloe has had a high fever ranging from 100-104. Not sure why, she has no other symptoms. The Tylenol and Motrin are sort of keeping it at bay. She woke up coughing this morning, and got sick. She calls it "gagging." This term, "gagging" started when Liam used to spit up (He had a very sensitive gag reflex, thankfully, we've moved on from that).

Last weekend Liam was the one running the high fevers. He had a double ear infection at the time, but he had a virus on top of it.

Looking forward to getting past this and Miss Chloe feeling better.

Here are some of the latest pictures.

This is the way we brush our teeth (45 times a day!) Liam rubs his hands together when he wants to brush his teeth.. because he knows we go into the bathroom to wash hands, and that is where the toothbrush is)

Chloe's dog

Chloe loves June. She always says "June is my dog and Marley is Daddy's dog."

Chloe tries to put shoes on June, she uses her Stethoscope on her, and checks her out.

Marley would never allow one of the kids to sit on him. June is so easygoing.

Liam's first birthday cake

Sunday drive ends with a bang

Thanksgiving

Got back Friday night from Wburg and had a great time @ Grammy and Grandad's house. We celebrated Grammy's bday and spent time with family and friends.

We've been battling a little bit of sickness but we are all on the mend. (Conjunctivis, fevers, ear infections, sore throat...!)

Some pics from the week.

This weekend

On the way to our first eye drs appt!
Chloe has 20/20 vision and Liam's vision is fine too. Chloe has a stigmatism in both eyes (which she gets from Mom) And Liam has large pupils which doesn't really mean anything. :)

Teeth

Liam watches Chloe brush her teeth and now he is obsessed (but so is Chloe). Both of these kids would brush their teeth five times a day if we let them. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, I'm afraid. :)

Liam turns 1

Liam turns 1! We had a little party for him on Saturday to celebrate.

We had our 12 month check up today.

Details:

32.5 inches (98%)
24lbs, 3 ounces (75%)

Told the Pedi he is saying, Milk, Bath, Book, Baba (paci), and of course Mama. We think he started calling Sean "Pa"

We're switching to Whole Milk and cutting back on bottles. 2 bottles a day (morning and night) the rest he will take via a sippy cup. The hard part will be breaking him of his desire for a bottle before his mid-day nap.
