The belle

Every night when the kids go to bed, this kittie sits by my side for attention. No matter where I am she is right there. I used to think she just wanted to be fed, but she just wants attention.

She's a good cat. She turned 13 this year and what's great about her is that she likes the kids and tolerates them well. So far she has never scratched them.

I asked Liam what he wants to be when he grows up and he said a dog or a train.

When I asked Chloe she said, "I don't know yet"

My favorite sayings

I need to document some of my favorite sayings heard over the weekend. When Chloe was blowing out a dandelion flower, she made a wish. "I wish that I could see Maya everyday!" Liam is still new to potty training. He was playing with his toys and had pooped in his underwear. He told me "There were three beeps and it just happened." Also, when Chloe goes to bed at night she has started asking me deep questions. Here are the last three nights of quesitons: How did people get on the earth? Do numbers every stop? (as in counting) How do the roads continue around the earth? What if there are holes, how deep does it go?

We're back!

After a 10 month hiatus, we're back. I've also changed the settings so that "anybody" can read it since many family and friends were having trouble accessing the account. I'm going to do my best to keep this blog rolling, even though life is just crazy busy between work, the kids, and everything else that falls in between. :) It's actually fun to read what I wrote about Liam at age 2! So much has changed for both kids in 10 months, and for us a family. A picture from our Summer vacation

After we returned from our Summer vacay, we came home to a sick doggie. June was unable to get up off the floor on her own. She was having trouble getting outside to eliminate. It was very hard for us to make this decision. She was 13 yrs old.

Chloe starts Kindergarten in the fall. It's been such a hard decision for us. I'm embarrassed to admit we have her registered at 3 places (St Joes, St Mikes and Public). We have to make a decision in the next couple of days, yikes! Liam will be starting preschool in the fall where Chloe went for the past two years. It's so hard to believe how fast the kids are growing!
