Pumpkin patch

Today we picked a pumpkin for Chloe. We went to a pumpkin patch at Roger's Spring Hill Farm in Haverhill. It may have been a bit late in the season to be picking pumpkins but we saw signs on the road and decided to give it a shot. Some of the pumpkins had seen better days but we still managed to find a decent pumpkin for Chloe.

Chloe is at the age where she loves the phone! Cell phones, cordless phones, land lines etc. We are quickly learning we need to move every phone out of her reach. On Friday, Chloe picked up the phone while I was dialed into a conference call and started jabbering away.

On Thursday, she picked up the phone and called Aunt Katie and actually had a conversation with her.

A new cousin

Last week (10/9), Ryan and Julieann welcomed the newest member to the family, Madelyn Jane Buchanan. She was 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and 19.5 inches long. She was born a wee bit early so she's been in the special care nursery working on a suntan.

Ladybug

We just got back from a very nice weekend in Williamsburg. It was Chloe's 3rd plane ride and she did well. Grammie and Grampy got her a very cute Halloween costume, a Ladybug. The best part is she can wear the vest all winter. ;)

Independence

Chloe has reached the independent age and wants to do everything herself. She especially enjoys feeding herself all the messy things like yogurt, oatmeal, and popsicles. As a result we are regularly changing outfits and doing lots of laundry.
