It was too windy and the candles were blowing out

August vacation and beyond

We spent the last couple of weeks in Williamsburg with Kathy and Mike (Grammy and Granddad) and had a great time. We jet skiied on the James River, visited Busch Gardens (almost daily, getting the most out of our 2 year pass!) and had a great time at the pool.

We also celebrated Chloe's Birthday (8/27) in Williamsburg and in Boston...

Liam turns 9 months!

And we tried again to give him finger foods. It was a little more successful this time around.

9 month check up

This is probably the first time we actually had an appointment before the month birthday. In 3 days Liam will be 9 months.

Here are stats:

Height: 30 & 3/4 inches (98%)
Weight: 23lbs (85%)
Head: 46.5 cm (84%)

He gained 3 pounds and grew two inches in the last 3 months.

What Liam is up to these days:
-He has two new teeth coming through! I noticed it today.
-He is sleeping very well 730/8 till 530/630 am
-He is eating pureed meats, fruits, and veggies
-He eats fruits in his mesh feeder
-He has taken a couple steps but then falls down
-He can pull himself up using one hand
-He can walk holding onto one (adult) hand
-He hates texture on foods and when he eats things like cheerios, puffs or the smallest curd of cottage cheese, he chokes, gags and vomits
-He says "Momma" and has started making the "P" sound
-He uses the pincher grasp to pick things up

Operation Cabinet

Looks like these two must be feeling better. Chloe's been battling a "Summer Virus" and Liam has a touch of it.

Liam checks out the Olive Oil and Gravy master, while Chloe enjoys making a mess.

Being a little brother

Chloe was a little under the weather and not too tolerable of her little brother. I don't think it affected him though. :)

Splash Park

There's a great splash park in Dracut with a playground, and a huge field. We met Katie, Pete, Maya and Tony there this afternoon. Chloe and Maya ran around in the field, played in the water, and played on the playground. As we were driving home, Chloe had a ring pop that she was licking as she fell asleep.

Pink Corvette

Chloe and Liam are playing with the pink car. Liam thought it was hilarious. We brought out some of Chloe's old toys. This one is a hit again!
