Liam's 6 months! We had a visit with the pedi today.
Height: 28 & 3/4 (95th percentile)
Weight: 20lbs. & 12 ounces (90th percentile)
Latest with him:
-Sleeping through the night (goes to bed 730/8PM and wakes up 6/630PM) He just suddenly started doing this in the last two weeks!
-He's rolling front to back and vice versa
-We'll be starting yogurt at lunch and meats at dinner
-He's doing well with his motor skills
-He's starting to creep around on the floor a little bit
-He can sit up unassisted (falls back at times occassionally)
-His ears look good - thankfully and the Pedi isn't concerned too much about his reoccurring ear infections yet, still too early (told him about how Sean had the same issues, had tubes, and later found out he had very large adenoids that had to be removed, so we have to keep an eye on things)
-No teeth yet but doctor said anytime after 6 months, Chloe was 8 months. Sean was 11 months. Hmmmm!
-And now we can let Liam cry it out! He said don't pick him up at night in his crib if he cries. Just go to him, rub his back/belly and make it quick visit so he knows it's dark and time for bed
-For naps, he said we could use the
ferber method but to really use that more at nightime. Nap time he said wasn't totally worth it if you have to go in to reassure the baby more than once. He said move the naptime later because the baby should be so tired and should fall right asleep at nap time.
-Liam is doing 2 naps a day. 10am and 2pm.
