The other morning we were getting ready to go and Liam wasn't ready until he put on Chloe's hat.

First broken bone
Earlier this week we took Chloe to get an xray of her arm. She fell off the jungle gym at the playground. She broke both the radius and ulna (both of the bones in her forearm). The Orthopedic put her in a purpose cast but warned that it would probably fall off. Children Chloe's age have very soft skin, and there isn't much for the cast to grab onto............who knew?
We ended up having a custom splint made and that has worked out great. We first had a soft velcro splint that pediatrician gave us until we could get xrays etc. It was a little too big and we found it hidden behind the trash can. Then she got the cast, and then finally the splint which she will wear for about 2 weeks.
