Merry Christmas!

Tonight we spent the evening at my Aunt's house for Christmas Eve. Every year, since I was little, we have always had someone in the fmaily (usually an uncle) wear the Santa costume and bring presents for the kids on Christmas Eve. We have a very large family on my Mother's side so this has always been a big deal. My brother Ryan has been playing the role as Santa for the last several years. He does a GREAT job, usually has most of us on the floor laughing. We got Chloe's picture taken with "Santa" and she did great. No tears.

Hmmm... cereal

We started feeding Chloe cereal and she seems to enjoy it. I think she loves it but isn't quite sure what she's supposed to do yet. We did get this on video so I'll try to post it here. As you can see, more ended up on her face than in her mouth. Too be expected I'm sure.







Since we were up early today we saw the deer in the yard looking for breakfast. They were getting very close to our arborvitaes again. Apparently deer love arbs - they demolished a few of our other ones a couple weeks ago. We took our chances planting them this past fall! Guess we lost!
I was actually glad to see them today because it is hunting season and we heard several gunshots in the woods yesterday afternoon. There are 4 deer that are always together, & it looks like they made it. Even though they like to eat EVERYTHING in our garden, I still can't imagine not seeing them around.

There were 4 here but I only got pictures of two of them.

Chloe's December photos

I took Chloe to Picture People for a few professional photos. I was impressed with the process there, they're so much more efficient than JC Penny. The only issue we had was with Chloe's wardrobe. Luckily I brought 2 outfits because we needed them. I won't go into detail. :) At one point, the photographer reminded me there was the store 'The Children's Place' across from the studio in the mall. Luckily, I didn't have to go purchase outfit #3.

Katie & Maya came for a visit yesterday and we couldn't resist taking pictures of Chloe & Maya together.

16 weeks and happy

Chloe is 16 weeks today. She laughs and smiles a lot, and it's very amusing to watch & interact with her.

Very cold and snowy here and more snow on the way tonight. Just a few more years before Chloe can hit the slopes. :) Although, I don't think she is one for cold weather, but we'll see.

Double Trouble
