The girls

The girls hadn't seen each other in almost a month. Maya came over for a visit and for dinner this past week, and the two girls had fun playing together.

As I was uploading pictures to the blog, I realized "June" our Yellow Lab, is in almost every single picture. She follows her around because she knows wherever Chloe is, there will be food dropping on the floor.

This morning, Chloe decided to help herself to breakfast (again). June didn't miss a trick.

Today Chloe crawled into the kitchen and opened the cabinet where we keep her food. She grabbed the Gerber Puffs, opened the top, and helped herself to a snack. She learned the new trick earlier this morning, according to Dad, and has repeated it several times since.

Back from Vacation

We just got back from a very relaxing 2 week vacation spent in Williamsburg and the Outerbanks. It was a lot of fun. And the weather was perfect.

Sean drove from MA (12+ hours!) with all our gear, and the dogs, and I flew with Chloe. It was Chloe's first time flying and she did well. She slept most of the hour flight each way, which made it very easy. She spent her brief awake time smiling at fellow passengers.

Chloe loved the beach and the Ocean which was warm (about 70 degrees!). Chloe also likes to eat sand.
