Sean drove from MA (12+ hours!) with all our gear, and the dogs, and I flew with Chloe. It was Chloe's first time flying and she did well. She slept most of the hour flight each way, which made it very easy. She spent her brief awake time smiling at fellow passengers.
Chloe loved the beach and the Ocean which was warm (about 70 degrees!). Chloe also likes to eat sand.
