100.5 guy

Liam's fever is still lingering and this morning it bounced back to 100.5, which anything over 100.4 is considered a decent fever in the little ones. So we'll be braving the -4 degrees today and heading back to the Pediatrician to see Dr. Martin. Probably just a lingering virus since that's what the blood work confirmed on Wed. The Dr wanted me to call if the temp wasn't gone by Friday. He's a bit fussier today and was up every three hours last night.

Little Liam's virus

Liam has a little virus according to the Pedi. He had about 5 vaccines packaged into 3 shots last Thursday and ever since he's been running an off and on fever. The Dr. we saw today said she thinks at first he had the normal reaction (fever) to the shots, but then somehow appears to be fighting a virus. He is his happy self, he just isn't eating as well as he was, and is a little fussy about it. He can have Tylenol so we've been giving him some to make him feel better.

Everytime we go somewhere in the car lately, Chloe holds Liam's hand for the entire car ride. It's so cute.

A new way to watch TV.

2 month check up

Liam had his 2 month check up today.

Here are his stats:
* 15lbs & 4.4oz (98%)
* 25 and 1/4 inches (98%)
* 41.25 cm (head) 76%

The NP said he is the size of a 4 month old. He grew 2 inches in one month, and gained over 3 lbs.

And he slept 9pm-4am last night, thank you Liam!

Sibling Love

Liam @ 9 weeks

Liam turns 9 weeks tomorrow. We had our best night sleep a couple nights ago when Liam slept from 9pm-5am but then he had a couple tough nights where he was up every hour or two, unsettled.

He weighs about 14 pounds and 14.2 ounces.

The "sick house" is better

Chloe and I probably had food poisoning after going out to lunch last Tuesday. We had lunch with Katie and Maya and Maya also came down with it. We all got sick at the same time. We are all doing better, thankfully! Sean took care of me and Chloe, while juggling the baby, and he later described the situation as "hell on earth." :)

Now we're trying to break Chloe of watching Dora the Explorer, which she has been watching lately. First it was Elmo, then Curious George, and now we're on to Dora. The other day Chloe was quizzing me about Dora's show.

She said "what's that?"
My reply "I am not sure, a parrot?"
Chloe: "Daddy knows." (she gave me a disgusted look because I didn't know who "Boots" or "Swiper" were).

Now, Boots and Swiper along with Mickey Mouse, and Maya, are in her make believe circle of friends that she plays with everyday. :)

And it's Marley's birthday everyday (poor Marley). He's thrilled for these parties!

Painting toe nails

Chloe keeps me busy during the day. But I'm not so good at painting toe nails, this is why I go out for my own pedicures!

Liam at 8 weeks

Latest details:

--sleeping in his crib at night (since about 5 weeks)
--sleeps about 6-7 hours in one stretch at night (from 8pm or 9pm until 2am or 3am, then 330am -6ish)
--When we supplement with Good Start Formula and Enfamil LIPIL it's giving him gas (need to figure this out)
--usually has a few cat naps during the day, no real nap schedule yet during the day yet

Liam, 7 weeks

Today Liam is 7 weeks!

He's doing great sleeping at night. He has managed to put himself on Chloe's bedtime schedule. By 8pm or 830pm, he falls into a deep sleep. We decided to put him to bed and for the last week or so he's been waking up at 230 am and 530 am religiously to eat.

He's a very easy going and happy baby, just like Chloe was.
